Alaxsxaq review

Red Boiling Springs' Alaxsxaq was reviewed over at Tiny Mix Tapes:

(O)n this cassette Red Boiling Springs have brought the sound of that unconscious, monster-filled, bump-in-the-night realm to the surface. Here are the whispers and pops of dead voices over a walkie-talkie, the possibly imagined distant scream of something lumbering through a fog filled forest, the deep groaning that seems to come from inside the earth itself at precisely 3:15 AM every night.

Hiatus over

The loose plans I was talking about in the last post are a little less loose-like now. I've moved to Portland, OR, after living four years in Alaska, so it's a bit more cost efficient for me to get tapes, so let's do this again.

I spruced up things around here and set up a fancy new store, where there are limited quantities of the old releases available. There are a few distro items as well, so go check it out.

Also available is the first the first new Nailbat release in four years, a set of tape manipulation and noise by Red Boiling Springs. It's limited to 30 copies and available over here.

More new things are afoot, so stay tuned.

Hiatus extended

Obviously there hasn't been any action on this page for a few years now, but I had been filling orders in the years of radio silence. I'm not going to be able to do that anymore, though. My intent is for this to be a temporary situation, and I have some loose plans of resurrecting the label. Until then, this is Nailbat signing off.

In the middle of setting new operations in Anchorage, AK. Any orders placed will be inconveniently delayed. My apologies.
